Put A Stop to Bullying project Varna, Bulgaria

Ahsen Sivri

I have participated in the “Put A Stop to Bullying” youth exchange project that was held in Varna, Bulgaria with 24 young people from Turkey ??, Bulgaria??, Italy ??, and Romania ??. The project took place from the 8th to the 16th of July.

Youth exchanges allow groups of young people from different countries to meet, live together, and work on shared projects for short periods.
Youth exchanges take place outside the school environment. On a youth exchange, you can expect to participate in activities such as workshops, exercises, debates, role-plays, outdoor activities, and more.

We started the project by “getting to know each other” activities and dived into the topic afterward. We discussed different types of bullying and shared personal experiences. Finally, we played a short theatre in the city to interview people and ask questions about bullying and to understand how they see bullying and how they react.
It was a great experience with young people from other countries. We shared, we learned and we laughed!
Thank you for this amazing lifetime experience!
