My name is Fehmi, I participated in a long-term volunteer project in Croatia and my first 1.5 months have passed. I can say that I have tried to get used to the culture, way of living, traditions and differences of this place in the course of time. I can easily say that my volunteering in the small town of Daruvar has been one of the best decisions I have made in my life. I met dozens of people from different countries and different backgrounds, and I can say that I have already added a lot to myself on this journey. I am very happy to be here, the local children and young people I met during our school visits made me very proud of their interest in Turkish. I have a longer period of time and I hope everything goes well for everyone.
